Marv journeys from across the river to bring us good ol’ bluegrass tunes.

4-6 pm: Boro Boogie Pickers
Natives of Waynesboro, PA and long time companions through music and otherwise, the Pickers bring original hoedown music with unique blend of bluegrass, country and folk music.
Local vendors will be giving demonstrations and some of the best caterers in the area will be bringing tasty eats. Bring a straw hat and some dancing shoes, folks, and be sure to grab a glass of ice cold Blueberry Sangria!

12 pm – 1:45 Lucas and the Lovelies
Founded by Lucas Laws & Tara Jenkins, Lucas & the Lovelys converged incrementally in the late aughts. The band features drummer/vocalist, Katherine Seifarth, bassist, Kelly Brown & violinist, Joe Taylor. Together they blend their own unique musical backgrounds, echoing the sounds of Blues, Rockabilly, Folk, Alt-Country, & Americana–all with multi-part harmonies.
Lawnchair draws it’s sound from the roots of rock and roll and country music. The 4-piece ensemble conjures both acoustic and electric tones to create an alchemy of whiskey fueled honky tonk straight from the dust of loose porch boards and raucous old juke joints.
A Philadelphia-based whisky blues/punkabilly band with influences of Johnny Cash, Bob Seger, and Bukowski. Sure to get you on your feet with songs from their new EP, “Idiots”

12-1:45: Ras Lidj and Deep Band Hailing from Baltimore, Ras brings the best in “Deep” Reggae to our fields! Sure to have you swaying to the intense bass beats and irie lyrics.
2-3:45: Secondhand Secondhand is a reggae, blues, hip hop band from western Maryland. Formed originally by Antonio Pennesi and Dan Morgan in 2010, the group has since added new members Paul Farrar & Kevin Yost in 2011. Although Secondhand combines many styles, no one can deny their true love of reggae music. It is the heart and soul of what they do.
4-6 pm: Jah Works Jah Works is a band of brothers based out of Baltimore, MD dedicated to writing, recording and performing original reggae music. While rooted firmly in the tradition of authentic Jamaican roots and dancehall, the band also blend elements of hip hop and popular music into their mix. A heavy dose of drum and bass combined with sweet melodies and catchy hooks are the groups’ trademarks.
This is one of the most unique concerts you’ll ever enjoy! Musicians specializing in blended genres– from Big Band Reggae to Gansta Grass, experience something different. Knob Hall will feature great “mixed” wine beverages like Sangria, slushies, and sparkling coolers!
12-1:45: Golden Butter Band The Golden Butter Band formed in 2006 out of a passion for great music. After two years expanding their catalog and defining their sound the band recorded their 1st full length album, “Welcome”, to local acclaim. Their style is versatile and yet cohesive, blending edgy and melodic guitar tones, funky bass lines, smooth beats, soaring vocals and impeccable harmonies.
2-3:45: May Weather May Weather was born in May of 2008 when four young musicians discovered they could make their instruments sound pleasing to the ear. Then one day the base of May Weather was infiltrated by four men wielding wind instruments of brass destruction! The two bands of four waged a battle of epic musical proportion, when they discovered that the two could make beautiful music and live in perfect peace.
4-6 pm: The Whiskeyhickon Boys The Whiskeyhickon Boys (WHB) have a unque sound that shakes your soul and awakens your senses. Their sound is a fusion of Folk, Bluegrass, Rockabilly and Hip-Hop with a splash of Funk blended together creating a musical cocktail they call Gangsta Folk.September 30th, 2012

We’re back for the third year running for Winestock, our most popular festival. We’ve chosen a great lineup of music sure to take you back to the era of free love and enlightenment– with great wines to help you on your journey! Over 30 different food and craft vendors will be on site. This is one concert during which to take advantage of our VIP seating– complete with Knob Hall folding chairs to relax in, and then take home!
